Overview

onecard Gold gives your cardholders (and up to 3 colleagues travelling with them) worldwide travel insurance for business trips up to 90 days when the cost of the travel is paid with the card.

This is in addition to the benefits and flexibility of our standard onecard such as the Smart Data OnLine reporting tool, and the Cards OnLine cardholder management tool.

Your RBS onecard Gold offers:

  • Travel insurance – for the cardholder and up to 3 colleagues
  • Medical expenses cover – up to £2,000,000
  • Hospital benefit – up to £750
  • Personal liability cover – up to £1,000,000
  • Cancellation cover – up to £3,000 if a trip has to be cancelled, curtailed or altered
  • Travel accident insurance – cover up to £25,000 – which rises to £250,000 if you’re using public transport or a hire car.
  • Personal belongings cover – up to £1,200 per person and loss of money up to £500
  • Emergency evacuation and/or repatriation – if suitable medical treatment is not available locally
  • Travel and accommodation expenses – up to £10,000
  • Travel delay cover - up to £300
  • 24 hour travel assistance

Existing onecard customers

As an existing customer, on upgrade you will be charged an additional £30 per card. Thereafter the onecard Gold annual fee is £75 per cardholder.

To upgrade one or more cardholders from onecard standard to onecard Gold:

• Complete the onecard Gold Upgrade Application Form (PDF, 30kb), listing the name of each employee to be upgraded.
