Never rely on just an email to validate a payment. Contact the sender on a trusted number.

The bank will never telephone asking you to transfer money to a new account.

If you receive a request from a supplier to change bank or contact details, always call back to check it's genuine.

Bogus bank calls

Have you received a suspicious call? Are you worried you’ve given away personal information? Call us now on 03457 24 24 24 (+44 131 549 8888 if you are overseas). Our lines are open 24 hours a day.

Suspicious texts

Have you received a suspicious text claiming to be from Royal Bank? Send it on to 88355. Standard network rates apply.
